GB 8965.1-2009 Protective Clothing Flame-Retardant Protection The First Part: Flame-Retardant Clothing——PRC National Standard

GB8965.1-2009 was approved by State General Administration of Quality and National Standards Commission on April 1, 2009 and it was applied on December 1, 2014, which supersedes the original standard GB8965-1998. This standard stipulated the design requirement, performance requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of flame-retardant clothing. It applies to the flame-retardant clothing which are wore in the places where there are fire, emitting sparks and molten metal near by. (not applies to the firefighting protective clothing)

This standard classified Flame-retardant clothing into three classes:

Class A  Flame-retardant clothing applies to the occasions where there are emitting sparks, molten metal, heat radiation and convective heat.

Class B  Flame-retardant clothing applies to the occasions where there are fire, emitting sparks, molten metal and the potential danger of flame.  

Class C  Flame-retardant clothing applies to temporary use in the places where there are flammable substance and the potential danger of flame.

 

GB 8965.2-2009 Protective Clothing Flame-Retardant Protection The Second Part: Welding Clothing——PRC National Standard

GB8965.2-2009 was approved by State General Administration of Quality and National Standards Commission on April 1, 2009 and it was applied on December 1, 2014, which supersedes the original standard GB15701-1995. This standard stipulated the design requirement, performance requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of welding clothing. It applies to the welding clothing which are wore in welding and related workplace where workers may suffer from molten metal splash and thermal injuries.

This standard classified welding clothing into three classes:

Class A

Operator’s head and Torso is exposed in top-down   melting droplets and splashes arc radiation environment, or operator can not   effectively avoid the droplets and splashes arc radiation due to the   limitation of space.

All kinds of over-head position, aerial and narrow   space open arc welding (except automatic welding), flame cutting,   carbon arc gouging and other exposed to high radiant heat, open flame, molten metal splashes occasions.

Class B

Operator’s partial body is exposed in top-down melting   droplets and splashes arc radiation environment.

Other open arc welding (except automatic welding), flame cutting,   carbon arc gouging etc. Except the operating position and environment listed in class A.   

Class C

There are no or rare flame and arc radiation and   splashes of molten metal droplets during the process of welding or cutting   operations.

A variety of welding and related operating methods   except those listed in Class A and Class B.



GA 10-2014 Standard on protective clothing for firefighters——Public Security Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China

GA 10-2014 was approved by National Ministry of Public Security on January 20, 2014 and it was applied on March 1, 2014, which supersedes the original standard GA 10-2002, GA 140-1996. This standard stipulated the definition, shape, size, design requirement, performance requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of firefighting protective clothing. It applies to standard firefighting clothing and firefighting conductor clothing, not applies to the firefighting protective clothing which wear in some special occasions (such as nuclear facilities, offshore platforms, underground mine fire, etc. )


DL/T 320-2010 General Technical Requirements for Personal Arc Protective Equipment ——PRC Electric power industry standard

DL/T 320-2010 was approved by National Energy Administration on January 9, 2011 and it was applied on May 1, 2011. This standard stipulated the arc protection grading requirements performance requirements and test methods for personal arc protective equipment, the selection method, the guidance of arc hazard assessment and the type of personal arc protective equipment. It applies to the arc protective equipment which against harm caused by the arc heat and flame. The personal arc protective equipment in this standard apply to all the people who may get the damage of arc harm, including the people who running, debugging, maintenance and maintenance the electricity during the generation, transmission, substation, distribution process.   


GB 12014-2009 Anti-static Knitted Clothing -——PRC National Standard

GB 12014-2009 was approved by State General Administration of Quality and National Standards Commission on April 1, 2009 and it was applied on December 1, 2009, which supersedes the original standard GB 12014-1989. This standard stipulated the design requirement, performance requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of anti-static clothing. It is suitable to the anti-static clothing which wear in electric shock, fire and explosion circumstances, but not apply to anti-Supply Voltage. 


GB 24540-2009 Protective Clothing- Acid and Alkali Chemical Protective Clothing——PRC National Standard

GB 24540-2009 was approved by State General Administration of Quality and National Standards Commission on October 30, 2009 and it was applied on September 1, 2010. This standard stipulated the classification, performance requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of acid and alkali chemical protective clothing. It applies to industrial workers’ liquid acid and alkali chemical protective clothing, not the clothing used in fire, rescue and other emergency workplaces, nor does it apply to hydrofluoric acid , ammonia, organic acid protective clothing.


GB/T 23464-2009 Protective clothing- Anti-static Knitted Clothing——PRC National Standard

GB/T 23464-2009 was approved by State General Administration of Quality and National Standards Commission on April 1, 2009, and was applied on December 1, 2009. This standard stipulated the design requirement, performance requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of anti-static knitted clothing. This standard is suitable for anti-static knitted clothing which wear in the hazardous circumstances (electric shock, fire and explosion) due to accumulation of static electricity.


GA 869-2010 Fire Fighting Protective Hood——Public Security Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China

GA 869-2010 was approved by National Ministry of Public Security on May 31, 2010, and was applied on August 1, 2010. This standard stipulated the definition of fire fighting hood, design requirement, performance requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage. This standard is suitable for the clothing which firefighters to put out fires, not apply to special fire operation in high risk circumstances, nor the circumstances like chemical, biological, electrical and electromagnetic, nuclear radiation or other dangerous places.  


GA 7-2004 Fire Fighting Gloves——Public Security Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China

GA 7-2004 was approved by National Ministry of Public Security on June 2, 2004, and was applied on October 1, 2004, which supersedes the original standard GA7-1991. This standard stipulated the definition of fire fighting glove, design requirement, performance requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage. This standard is suitable for firefighters to put out fires, not apply to special fire operation in high risk circumstances, nor the circumstances like chemical, biological, electrical and electromagnetic, nuclear radiation or other dangerous places.
